It’s Such a Beautiful Day

Did your parents say that to you on sunny days? It is a great statement. Most people can connect with it. I walked out to my Jeep this morning to put a new scanner in to take to work. My daughter followed me out already starting to pout thinking I was leaving for work. I diverted her attention with the first thing I could think of and it worked. She turned her lovely face toward the sun and said “yesssssss.” Ironically, this isn’t the type of day I’d be out signing papers for term insurance, but stuff that needs to be done, needs to be done.

It may seem trite but this is a great “catch-all” statement to keep in your back pocket for difficult situations. I have a few potential ones coming up this week and i plan to use it. If you say it and mean it, it can provide you with a universal connection with the person you are talking to and hopefully divert the situation into something positive, even if just for a moment.

By the way, here in the high desert this morning, it’s such a beautiful day. Enjoy your day wherever you are.

It’s a beautiful day here too! I’m sipping my coffee and looking out to a blue, clear sky. Which is unusual lately since yesterday it was still snowing…

My mom used to say that to me all the time. It usually meant “It’s such a beautiful day, just perfect for a million chores outside”. I always tried to hide from her when she said this.

LOL. That’s what my mom meant too!!! That sounds like a “Deep Thought” from Jack Handey. Ever read any of those from SNL??? Thanks for the comment

It was a beautiful day…well, morning (we had some pretty bad storms afternoon and evening) yesterday, too! Every year when it first starts to get warm, I totally appreciate the feeling of walking outside without a jacket, seeing sunshine and smelling spring! Yes, it has a scent! My neighbors tree (dont know what kind it is) is in full bloom for a week or so and it just smells divine!!!!

I was researching term insurance last week, too. The hubby and I don’t have kids so we haven’t really thought about buying insurance much. Additionally our workplaces do provide some insurance, so I’m not sure if we need it. It is a good financial product, though.
