These Things I Know about Blogging

I just finished capping a series of posts about blogging. It’s a long series, but it’s made of posts I thought were important to write along the way these past 7 months of serious blogging.

As I mention in some of the latter posts, I’ve discovered and decided I am not a profit motivated blogger. Of course it would be nice to sell something I created or advertise guitar lessons or something practical like that. On the other hand, I don’t like being tied down to one marketing niche in my blog. I am starting a second blog as we speak of teacher stories. I might explore monetizing that and blog a new series :) on what I learn about monetization, but for now I just have this series on getting the most out of personal blogging in a very confusing and sometimes even discouraging medium. I am excited about this series. I welcome your comments on all the the articles you feel you have a reaction to. thanks for reading, and have fun blogging!
