This is a “rant” for which I was tagged by Jessica the Rock Chick at Life is Rantastic. The original “moaning meme” was started by the Freelance Cynic. If you’re interested in this new moaning meme movement, check out that site! I don’t do many rants directly named as such, so this should be fun! (Please take it in fun, and if you are offended by anything I apologize beforehand . . . rant is rant is rant):
- Credit Reporting Agencies. Though it is now California law that I am entitled to a free credit report each year, the bazillion buttons I have to push on the phone and/or impossible-to-navigate websites make it not even worth trying. And if I see on my report that there are like 50 errors being reported, I have to certified mail disputes that take a month sometimes to ever get addressed. The consumer is at the mercy of these huge boars. I’d love to take a sledge hammer into Transunion and wipe out a few consoles.
- Car warranties. I hate how stuff on my cars breaks just 10 or 20 miles after the warranty expires. This is perversity plain and simple.
- Section 8 housing “tenants” on my street. One in particular who works as a secrurity guard at the mall has parties every night and drives a better Jeep than I do.
- College costs. This is mostly due to fact that I went to the University for 10 years and now pay a lot per month.

Ahhhhhhh, I love the rant!!!! Yesterday some woman was paying for her groceries on a government assisted card and her three kids all had on EXPENSIVE clothes (I know because my kids want those clothes and we can’t afford them!) and expensive gym shoes and she had on quite the jewelry along with a not so cheap purse, either.
That just irks me!!!!

Yeah. I’m not much of a ranter. Usually I look back at my “whining” the next day and see it as silly. These rants however have lasted the night ;) Freelance Cynic is intriguing.
