So that’s why you so in the dark as a commenter ;) Just kidding. Yes. Edgar Allen Poe has figured into my development as well. He was just a truly incredible mind. Unofrtunately for him, he was smitten with bipolar and back then self-medicated with Opium. But he rose above it and managed to give us some amazing vision for the ages.
