Hi Nick. There is a plugin called “Sideblog” I used for a couple days and now am not using. What it does is enable you to make short posts called “asides” that don’t show in the reader but you can place anywhere in your template.
I found putting a Twitter call up there worked better because it didn’t increase my post count falsely. Also, it takes the clicking reader to my Twitter account where they can join up, “follow” me andstart Twittering themselves. We’ll see how long the plan works :) I do like the idea of having short post updates, or asides, at the top of my blog. It lets people know I am a warm body over here.
