What a day! The observation went very very well. I scored extremely high on the rubric. I guess I nailed it! The proof is in the pudding. My kids were animated the entire lesson and after the observers were gone they all said stuff like “that was so fun.” Note to self: try to always be as innovative and indefatigable without the observers as you are when you are with them! After the terrible sore throat and then the complete loss of my voice, it was truly a miracle that this morning I woke up with my voice back and a completely clear head to get this lesson done how I wanted. Thanks goes to God. Tomorrow is another one, but now that the initial ice is broken, I know I won’t be nearly as nervous. TGIO! (Thank God It’s Over!)

Now, since I have blogged my post for the night . . . it’s time to crash and watch a show or two and then get my Power Point lesson fixed up for tomorrow’s lesson. Finally, sleep man sleep . . . for the baby cries every other hour . . . or so. Many I am gettin’ fast at making those ba-ba’s half asleep in the night! They say it ends eventually and they sleep through the night. I also recall it happened with our other kids . . . but right now . . . I have amnesia.
