Integration

Someone told me months ago that I should integrate my music with my blog. Until now I have been slow to do so because they are such 2 completely different types of things to promote. The blog is my “welcome to my brain” event and the music is my polished product that I perpetually develop as a form of focused entertainment . . . I never claim my blog should be entertaining and if it is that is pure coincidence. It’s my therapy and my practice at writing. I have become a much more effective writer and thinker as a result of my online diary.

I found a plugin that allows me to feature an external feed in my sidebar so I feature my “MySpace” (quotes are to avoid a my MY). Check it out in my sidebar and check my songs out as well if you haven’t. They are one of the big parts of who I am and who I have been since I started writing and performing songs around age 8. In an online presence such as this blog, this aspect of my personality is a big part of the global image I hope to reflect. It’s fun making yourself a character online . . . part based in reality and part in aspirations!  Twitter helps with that product as well I think.
