Taking Charge of Dinner

It’s 5:30p am I am starving.  I know we have some meat thawed and probably enough stuff to put together a nice dinner.  At the same time, I wanna go out!  I think if I ask my wife she will say “Where do you want to go?” so I will be putting that to the test shortly.  Not as many posts today because I was fiddling with a sidebar photoshow though Gallery2.  It was all working and then there was a snag at the end rrrrr.  Back to the old drawing board.  Okay, with one kid sleeping and needing to be gotten up and the other in her swing needing shoes, I’m mustering up the energy to take charge of dinner and get this family out of the house for the first time today!  What are you havin’?

We had local farm grown collard greens and tomatoes with couscous and pine nuts and store bought corn on the cob, Leon had turkey, too. We finally made it to a farmer’s market about 30 minutes from here I’ve been wanting to see. It was worth the heat coming up from the asphalt. Of course, a snow cone got me through it! YUMMY. Hope you enjoyed your dinner out.

We had a BBQ despite having difficulties getting everything lit because of the wind. It was quite good! Ribeyes, corn on the cob, baked beans, the works!!! Did you guys make it out to dinner?

Oh the bar-b-cue sounds poetic. We went to Mexican at a little place up here. Of course, I got enchiladas. Kind of my staple.
