Dexter is a great show on Showtime. I enjoy watching it. After watching the first 4 episodes of this new season, I’m still a big fan. If you don’t have Showtime, you can buy the past seasons on DVD. Here’s those reasons:

  1. The guy is sly.  It’s fun to watch his expressions when he does such horrible things.
  2. His guilt has to be so far worse than any I have experienced or likely ever will.  That makes watching him sort of cathartic.
  3. It is full of subtle dark humor that I appreciate.
  4. Full of irony.
  5. Jimmy Smits os doing some episodes and he is a great actor.
  6. It’s probably the most original premise I’ve even run across in a tv show.
  7. The people he kills are such @**holes. LOL.
  8. His character is consistent, unlike most of the other shows I’ve been watching the past year.
  9. It’s better than any other cop show.
  10. It’s got more character development that CSI without sacrificing the metal slab forensics fun!
