There have been significant signposts along the road of my life where I can remember feeling that sense of “arrival.” This training stuff for EDI and now getting the chance to share what I have learned with other teachers is truly one of those moments. I have always wanted to make teaching easier and more effective through invention. Now, I get the chance to help on top of it. For me and my personality this is really a cool thing. I’m not making any extra money doing it, but there is a fulfillment payoff knowing I am helping others and having an influence to help kids learn more, better, and faster. It’s the small “arrivals” in life that make the tough journey worthwhile. I say that out to anybody trudging through the journey with no arrival in sight. Are you doing the right things? Are you being faithful at the little things? Are you being kid to others? Those three items will have you arriving in no time, hang in there. I’m living proof these days.
