Thursday Thirteen - Why my 30’s are Better than my 20’s
- I know more stuff.
- My voice isn’t so squeaky.
- I can see the end and appreciate life more.
- I’m more mellow, less “bombastic.”
- I have better computer stuff.
- I have three kids who are always hugging my neck.
- I realllly know how to do my job, no need to be pretentious like a noob.
- I’ve discovered Wordpress :)
- I live in a bigger house.
- I get to give advice here and there to younger folks.
- My songs are more mature and soulful (myspace.com/damienrileytunes)
- I’m married to a hot chick and have no need to see “what’s out there” (which as I recall wasn’t much in comparison).
- I get to feel in a way a bit of ownership of this world, like I am part of the generation in charge. (even though when it comes to politics I am almost admittedly quite apathetic.)

Then I can’t wait until I’m thirty hehehe ..great TT
Knowing more stuff is a good thing - for us. Liked your list, can’t wait to read the one you write in your 40’s.
Great list! I’m nearing my 30s and I can agree with most of these. Hope you have a great weekend!
That’s nice that you know more “stuff”, at least you learned something in the past 10 years !
That’s a really excellent list and really appreciated by me… a person who’s about to fall into her 40’s with a big splat! Thanks for sharing. I’ve posted my very 1st Thursday Thirteen today. It’s actually kinda exciting.
You just made me feel better about being in my thirties after a meeting with a bunch of twenty year olds tonight! They are so sweet, still look great, and have not a care in the world right now. How does that feel? Haha!
Still, I would not trade my life for anything because I have a son who hugs my neck too!

yes, my kids make every day special. Sometimes exhausting, but ALWAYS special.
41 here, and no big complaints! My 30s were great. It can only get better, right?
Happy TT!
The 30’s were good, way better than the 20’s but having recently turned 41, I think the 40’s might even be better. The saying “if you only knew then what you know now” is so true, though. I’m going to check out your tunes on MySpace!!
