Using PowerPoint to Teach

The greatest wisdom I’ve heard in my career was from my Master Teacher “Anothony Tebelskis” back in 1998:

The secret of good teaching is taking kids from the concrete to the abstract.

In other words: Making the hard stuff easy.

This is a Power Point Presentation my wife helped me with tonight. They work amazingly well for doing JUST THAT!

    Dang, where the heck were you, and this method of teaching when I was schooled?  Great job!  

    I can say confidently that I am much better at this concept — what the outcome will be faced on previous experiences or behavior — for life rather than text book reading or tests.
