Women Actually Talk Less than Men

The Language Guy had a great article today on how actually women talk less than men in mixed gender conversat.... This follows on the heels of a generational understanding that women talk more than men: not so. His post explains that in general men and women talk the same amount and in mixed gender conversation they actually talk less.

This is good for me to hear because I have always talked more than most females I know. It’s good to know that as a male I don’t have to feel atypical because I tend to be more exuberant. Now, I am just waiting for the study that shows men don’t necessarily have to watch football to be manly . . . now that would be a real relief!

That’s because we are innately aware of men’s limited attention spans :)

I’m just teasing, of course…..or am I??

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm……………. :)

Sadly, I’m afraid you do have to watch football to be manly.
